Hello all, just gone and got myself a CSL from Nick Johnson, it was amar7274's car. Don't pick it up for another 2 weeks though :banghead:. Amar himself pointed me in the direction of this site so just thought i'd introduce myself. I live in the North of Scotland so some great roads up here, owned a Renault Sport Spider ( written off by a BMW driver ironically ), then a TVR T350T ( miss the drama and looks, don't miss all the near death "moments" it provided ), now its time to find out what all the fuss is about with this mint CSL, a credit to its previous owner is an understatement. Hope to make some new friends here and learn what i'm letting myself into. Cheers all.

Perfect car for perfect surroundings. Enjoy.
Welcome to the site mate, I'm sure you won't be dissapointed! :smokin:
Incidentally, how come you didn't purchase direct from Amar, sure Nick Johnson would make a profit on it if he's selling it straight on?

Maybe he didn't know it was Amar's car until after he had bought it from NJ? Or could be a finance thing?
Congrats by the way, looks like a great example.

I wondered that too, I did notice Nick had it up for £31K, maybe some people do prefer to buy from dealers and pay more for the privilege after all:wink:
Can I be cheeky and ask what the sale price was in the end, I thought 32 K for a private sale was a bit optimist tbh

Anybody know of any more low miles, mint, SG cars for sale?
I ended up calling Amar on the day this car sold, didnt realise it had gone to NJ and now it has sold again :bigcry:
Slightly o/t but anybody any more details on the car at Extreme (old Ralliart Place) reg no - LX04 WWA, seems a bit pricey and no warranty

There's been a few posts about that one mate, I considered it when I was looking last year to buy one but steered clear because it seemed over priced, as you say no warranty and also it had been for sale a very long time and still has been to date!
I ended up buying warranty on the car I've got now but I'd like to think it's a muchmore honest car with sensile mileage on it, not a garage queen but still lovely and clean

Looked at LX04 WWA, very clean, slight damage to front bumper ( split along top ), slightly " bobbled " steering wheel, but apart from that all seemed good. May be a very slightly on the pricey side though.

mine had a 75mm long crack when i bought it just above the number plate bolt. Still there but that is a CF box section so slight damage is easily repaired.
steering wheel bobbles are very common. You can replace, but Virosol clean and i sandpaper it and it comes up smooth as Mattcslnut's bottom

I would have bought it direct from Amar but Nick got there first :banghead:. Don't know what Amar took for it but Nick had it up for 33k and didn't move far from that. I've looked at quite a few and this one is pretty much as good as it gets IMO. Oh well, you pays your money etc, etc.
