Advice really and part no's :smt023

Only ever had AP disc's on my AP's front and rear so have idea whether the PF ones are better / worse or the same ( not had any issues with the AP's to date so no cracks etc )

Gonna be needing front and rear solutions pretty soon for the 2010 silly season, so what do you lot of CSL driving ... register posting... track sliding .. wheel cleaning .. carpet munching Mo Fo's recommend for disc solutions !!;)

i haven't had a chance to use my PF discs properly yet (on a track). i had AP discs before and they compare similar so far for road use. i went for the PF disc as generally people rate them better over the AP ones, less prone to crack, warp and melt ;).

front PF front discs part numbers 356.32.0054.03 & 04.

you will need the bolt/washer kit x2 as well - CP3845-101K12

not sure about the rears, i have OEM.

There is no PF option for the rear.

You can still get rears for the PFs but they have stopped making them now as the demand is not that high. Which I think is shit when they do one for the E46 M3 fronts and also the AP Upgrade for the E46 M3 & CSL.

I have them on and I have been very happy with them although I need to get some new ones. The only other thing about the rears is they are dimpled so wont match the front grooved design. If you need part numbers I will dig them out for you.

Tarox do the F2000 disk that might be worth a look. The Stoptech one is a lot heavier than other options out there ;)

The replacements PFs are £120 each although you would need the bell as well which would be a bit more

Tarox ones might be worth a look, must be a reasonable option ?

Thanks JT that rules out PF for the rear then if there no longer or not available unless there is someone with a stash ;)

So looking likey I might have to go AP again if no other proper all round option ( and easier ) :smokin:

Spoke with PF at almost every Autosport show and asked them to do them and the answer has always been the same.....er

Never liked Tarox stuff, simply poor experience for me.

Interesting about Tarox , never used them just thought they had a good name, but in that case will avoid ;)

Bit stupid on the PF front probably the time they would sell the most as the cars get older and more peeps track and or race the E46 .. madness

There must be a market for them, E46 M3's + CSL's & Z4 M's I believe are the same size disks, they just need to go and market / promote them. The market in the US must be big enough for prodution to be made .....

They do say you need to watch the pad size when using their rear disks but Ive used loads of different options and had no issues. I think if the pad is too big it can touch the bell.

If you want matching then AP is the only route

Come on PF pull your finger out !

I also thought Tarox had a good name

Why not just PF the front and std rears Daz. The standard rear discs are absolutely fine and you save a bundle of beer tokens for Pistenklause. Simple as.

I know your gonna come back with the "matching all round thing" but that's just :gayfight: :hahaha:

Well done Mark

It would be good to see whether they would consider making rear discs.

I will also participate in the group buy, despite that I don't need them (having stock is always good, especially when we are getting closer to 2012 (http://www.whowillsurvive2012.com/))
