Hi I am looking to buy a CSL but have never been in one. A guy has one for sale quite local to me but he isn't being very helpful, esentially he thinks I should go and see others and then buy his. Really nice, I can't wait to oblige.

So after a chat with Mark he suggesting asking if anybody on the site is based around Kent or perhaps London. I don't want to drive the car, ideally I'd like a good look over the car and to be shown the various things you deem important.
So is anybody based in Kent or surrounding areas, I am in St Albans next Thursday if anybody is based there.

Hi Fasteddie. Im in West Sussex but the car is with Munich Legends. Your welcome to go have a chat with them and I can let them know your coming over/ or just go take a visit. They're very knowledgeable and would be willing to take you out in a CSL, either mine or I believe they have recently taken in a CSL, if not already sold! :thumbs:

I am down at Brands Hatch on Thursay 18th to watch friends on a trackday (spactator only this time) so you could pop in there and we could have a drive out

Hi Folks, thanks I feel like big Bro Mark has 'ad a word! Shimmy I would like to meet you at Brands if the offer remains open, ideally I'd like to be shown around the car by somebody who knows about the car so I can see what's what and know what I am looking for (and listening for). I may also be able to get over to Munich Legends but that depends on work. I have found a car I like and am going to see it Friday 19th, if it is as detailed in the ad I'll be driving it home so any research I can do beforehand will be very useful.

well will ya look at that, how good is this forum! :thumbs:I've lost a blonde 36, 24, 36 - any of those on ebay? Obviously when I get the CSL she'll have to go on a diet, can't have any excess weight - who am I kidding she can get the bus.
I've also spoken to Alex at Munich Legends, if I can get down there he'll be happy to show me round and sell me one!!

Yes Chris, this is the moment where you tell me he's your brother and I'm a ....... He seemed very confident in his product (this is me back pedalling....) but came across a touch arrogant (more diplomacy). He was going on about Black and how rare it is carefully not mentioning why the majority where ordered in teh silver grey. Obviously this is all personal and hey who doesn't like a black carbut the caaaaaaaaaarbon roooooooof (I'm just going on too much now, please don't hurt me) ;)

But I spoke to him a few months ago when I was first looking for one and he was exactly the same towards me. It's odd because the car seems to have a reasonable mileage, reasonable price, and if it's as nice as he says it is I'd have thought it would have sold quite quickly. But 4 months on and he's still got it. Maybe his attitude has put people off?

I was going to go and see it but he said to me that unless I was going to buy it he wasn't going to let me drive it! Bit of an odd way to sell cars if you ask me...

Im in Keston (off the A21) which is nice and close.

My CSL's getting picked up tomorrow for some paint at Townley panel & paint, Dartford.

When i get her back your welcome to pop up and have a nose around it & i am happy to take you for a spin.

However if you are a crafty car thief, you wont be going home that day because i'm gonna chop you up & feed you to my pigs!:drool:

hmm well I'll be needing to know what goes wrong so I can spot it on a duffer! However as I don't know anybody on here well enough I'll be leaving it there. Thanks all for the offers of help, hopefully I'll be able to see a few before I go and buy one. Money in the banks is a terrible thing. I had planned to stay in the S3 and buy in the summer, just can't help myself.

And Chris as for the chap we both know, well what a nob. Can't believe he has that attitude, sounds like he said exactly that same story to you as he did to me. He sells some hot machinery there and all I can say is it must be a different breed of person who buys a Ferrari then, the same sort of person who pays someone to beat them to a pulp perhaps??
