Thought this was quite funny, don't think it can happen that often.
When we moved to the island, we had the csl and the 318. We were sitting in the 318 as I was feeding the baby and I had more room in there. The csl was parked next to it. We were at the back of the boat, the last 2 cars on. 2 people (one ferry worker and one non worker lady) walked towards the csl and to the edge off the boat. They were holding some sort of bowl thing.
Anyway, they were talking and the lady looked quite upset. As they were close to the csl I was keeping my eye on them wondering what was going on. The boat pulled away and in the middle of the Solent, lo and behold, they got the bowl thing, took the lid off and let out someones ashes over the side but unfortunately the wind was blowing in the wrong direction and the ashes blew back on the boat and the csl was covered in them :smt012 They looked horrified at first, but then started laughing. I was not laughing but didn't feel it appropriate to moan at them.
Had to drive it home with ashes all over the windscreen which I obviously wipered off and all down the passenger side. As there was spray from the sea the ashes were stuck on so didn't just blow off. I wouldn't clean the car though:shock:, left that to my husband ewwww. Hope he/she felt privilged to be on such a cool car. :smokin::hahaha:
