OK, well talk about flogging a dead horse, but I guess this time it's an 'official' goodbye. A rather knowledgable chap came and collected the shell on Thursday, aswell as a few other of the remaining parts. So I officially no longer own a CSL and boy, does that bug me!!! :(

However, the eagle eye's fanatics amongst you might have spotted the new steed lurking in the background! :)

Yep, that way straight over AF won't be an issue anymore (for the reference I have never done that) and next time I go grass / gravel tracking at SX I might get some grip with those nobbly tyres and what not!

Think the main thing that'll keep me out of a CSL is insurance quotes of £2800.00, I simply refuse to pay that as in my eye's its money down the drain. I'll enjoy some 'lesser' cars this year however wouldn't mind trying to maybe blag a few passenger ride's in others.

It's funny I've give hundred's of pax laps over the years, and only ever really been out in a few people's cars in comparrison, this time tables have turned and I'll be the one scrounging PAX's. :(

Are you remapping the silver beast in the background???

Sad day to see it go, but guess you must be relieved in a way.

Did it end up worthwhile stripping / breaking the CSL financially ?

£2800  !!! for an insurance quote ??? Last time I had a silly quote like this was when I rung "Swinton" age 18, trying to get insurance cover on a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe... oh how we all laughed :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: I later found out it was their polite way of saying "Fook Off"
