Welcome Reesy - car looks good mate.
The ride height at the rear looks almost too low though? :smt017 I say that because mine sat low like that when the i had my KWs fitted and it was subsequently found to sit so low that it was at risk of going coil bound...

The green hell!! Like it!
Do you guys get insured for it? If so, who do you go with?
I called Adrian Flux earlier, said im going on excursion to Europe, and looking to drive across a german toll road, called something like the Nurburgring, am I covered??!!!!
As soon as she heard that hallowed word, she was straight in to insurance mode, no cover, no support etc!! Seems like the days of the old toll road excuse are over! Not surprised though. Heard some terrible stories about the cost of those armcos!

Not that old chestnut again ^^^^ That site is nothing more than scaremongering and doesn't offer an insurance policy of any substance that is worth the paper it is written on! :smt012
Very few companies will insure the Ring now unless you drive it as part of an organised, professionally run track day. I used to be able to get Tourist Drive insurance through MORIS (Everitt Boles) but for some reason the suddenly stopped providing cover for TF days around 6 months ago - i haven't enquired since...

good luck Reesy.. my insurance with Admiral specifically mentions "that i'm not covered for use on track days AND the Nurburgring – Nordschleife
Guess people have put claims in stating that it’s a public toll road and not a track.

Sound, thought I was the only one out the masses going with no ring cover so to speak. How would that transpire then, if you caused someone a serious injury deemed your fault? Do you sign a normal disclaimer as per uk tracks? Could the german police not seize your car if you cannot show valid road insurance?
My broker was round yesterday sorting our trade renewal, apparently insurance has dropped in price across the range:beer:. He is trying to wangle track cover for testing purposes;);) into our policy for free. Another years no claims as well so should be all good.
