Duncan - i'm sure BMW could authorise a German main dealer to carry out the 1200 mile oil service for you?

I'm sure that there must be a willing volunteer on here that would happily pile some 'running-in' miles onto your car if required  :hahaha:

Actually that's a mighty good idea G-dog  I volunteer  then Duncan could trailer my CSL to the Ring (to keep my mileage down as I'm nearing my 7500 insurance mile limit) and I'll either drive his CSL or pull my CSL with his Disco. Either way it's a Win Win

With seats still in place you can still get 4 x wheels/tyres in there stacked two high each side - there is a technique to getting them in there though!

it was a good eve today managed 9 laps

about 10 Csl's already here, 6 or 7 from Uk, 1 froggy (me) une SB german and one from Lux

By the way, if someone is not on the road yet and has a bottle of SMGII specific oil (not gearbox oil, the oil for the hydraulic shifting struff) can he bring some, there is a UK csl owner (white Csl with orange rims) with a leak on his system and he can't shift gear anymore.

thanks for him

I've asked my friend Hightmast to bring some too to help over

Well, i'm sat at Dazza's having Peroni solutions after a bbq.

I arrived here this evening only to find that i had to do some emergency maintenance on the CSL as my rear pads had worn to the metal and were scraping on the disc! Luckily i had some RS29s in my spares box so 45 minutes later it was all sorted - gotta love APs for their ease of pad change solutions!

Off to bed soon as were up at 03:15... :banghead:

See you all there tomorrow :supz:
