Would it not be cheaper to drive down to Dover and get the Norfolkline ferry for just £60 return? Obviously your fuel bill would be a little higher...

So in case (I touch wood) any of the CSLs has an issue, we can plug it to the GT1, erase faults from the ECU etc etc.

So I am interviewing this guy on Fri morning for a position at our place. At the end of interview, subject turns to interests which eventually moved to cars (He does the Le Mans classic with a few guys in Elise's every year). 2m 57.3s my first visit and car was stock with AP/Rs29 (Cups)

2m 54.0s second visit with AP/Rs14, new Cups and Intrax Ik2 (but interestingly my speed thru Eau Rouge and B2 were slower second time!)

I guess a real target this year weather permitting is 2m 52s but 2m 50s would be luverly!

In the newpapers they say they will have to consider to check the other tunnels built the same way so for the moment, per matter of safety, all tunnel access are closed to all staff, cars and public and track is totally closed without any dates of comeback :banghead:

We have been made aware of the fact there has been some damage sustained to the HGV-tunnel which runs under the 'Blanchimont' corner at Spa-Francorchamps. We have not had contact with the circuit management directly and at this time we have no further information other than it is not thought that anyone has been injured and surveyors will be assessing the damage tomorrow (Monday) with a view to making a decision on the continued use of the circuit then.

Please be patient with us while we await further instructions for the circuit management. More information will be released as soon as we have it. In the meantime please do not contact us regarding this issue as we have no further useful information at this time.

We have now heard from the circuit and they have confirmed that structural engineers are currently assessing the damage with a view to making a decision on the work involved before close of business today. We hope to have an update no later than 19:00 GMT today.

Sounds to me like it's panic over and no problem for the trackday to go ahead, if they are letting races go ahead on the 24th April then a trackday 6 weeks later will be fine!

Sounds to me like it's panic over and no problem for the trackday to go ahead, if they are letting races go ahead on the 24th April then a trackday 6 weeks later will be fine!
