i am looking at maybe selling my front CSL bumper (with old worn out splitters and grille but no number plate holder)
any ideas what its would be worth ???????????????????????????
as it is (silver grey with loads of stone chips and one small 2 inch crack)
refurbishd and made to look like new, prepped for painting
part of the greater CSL plan for 2010

yes as much as possible (no really as that was the question)
i was gonna repair it, fill and undercoat it and see whats he fetches - bearing in mind replacements from BMW are in the £000s
(nords - what did you pay for your replacement? (or insurance)

All up the repair bill was about £8K and another £2K for the 320d hirecar (diesel!!!).
A painted (ie SG or SB) front airdam is about £2.8K which includes the carbon flippers at about £250 each. That might include fitting but this is likely to be 30 mins or less?

Trip to the Far East, here you come.
I'd take it as is as my car is SG and I'm not too bad when it comes to bodywork.

Shimmy - I sold my (slightly) cracked front bumper for 1500 euros - it required repair before painting.

I specifically asked to keep my old bumper when it was replaced, but it was 'thrown away' as it was too badly damaged!
Hummmm...........
(No way saying your one is mine Shimmy, however I'm sure mine (ventureshielded but with big crack) is out there somewhere!)

my one is my one Nords, been on the car since birth and the small crack is no badger crack but a wifey crack driving very slowly into the back of my stationary RRS :bigcry:
