Am i being backward here or is there no headlight beam hieght adjustment on csl?
there is no adjustment if you have xenons, its done automatically. dont know about none xenon CSL's

Non Xenons have the little dial to move them up or down.

Non Xenons have the little dial to move them up or down.Yeah,mines like this,but my stock m3 had a little knob[oooeeerrr misses] behind the xenons for adjustment,but i think its better to let the dealer do it.;)

Bounce, I would be very careful of letting any dealer fiddle with ya knob mate ! :hahaha: mmmm...A most predictable reply I suppose thinking about it .... :clown:... must be time to go home !

It was a small lever which changes the 'kick up' to a totally flat beam (ie a 'UK spread' to one which is acceptable to Europe but with no 'kickup' on either side). It doesn't alter the level of the beam.

It doesn't alter the level of the beam.I may be wrong,but i remember a few m3 owners saying they changed the level of there xenons,perhaps there is another way.

there are 2 cog/gear like dials on the rear of your headlamps, one does up and down, the other does left to right,
When you adjust these, and get to desired position, your self leveling uses these as the calibration point:thumbs:

People seem to think that xenons instinctively know where to set to,
They self level to the point that you calibrate them too and by level sensors can move up/down if extra weight in car etc etc.
Ideally you will need a headlight aligner but alternatively drive towards a wall on level surface, put headlights on engine running.
Level is approx to top of headlight, left and right equal and the kick off to the left(ns):thumbs:
