Curious with who's had snow and who hasn't. With all this snow down South. Whos been using their front splitters as snow plows?
Any hairy off moments and sideway actions from anyone or even a TD in the snow?
I managed to get a daily in the nick of time last week, so the CSL has been covered in 7 inches of snow, not being able to get it off the drive and into storage. I remember last year I couldn't move 3 foot being RWD. :banghead:

went out to the pub today, no snow on the roads in the Banstead area. although will pressure wash the car to get any salt off the body/arches etc.

Not in CSL but have been having the time of my life, DSC off and lock stop angles of skidding, managed a good one past the security guards at work whilst waving at them :D
Only time a 318i feels like it has enough power so making the most of it ;)

As Bounce said no snow here in south western parts of kernow, quite bright actually. Almost tempted for a blast but salty roads out me off. Perhaps a nice dry break over xmas......

Mine tucked up in the garage under it's cover for the next few months id guess.
Been tooling around in an old S8 which is perfect for the snow :smokin:
Always amusing to see the BM's spinning their wheels on the news...
Mine's deffo tucked up for now, not taken the Cups off as yet...don't even want to go out in the Golf really!
Had to leave my z3mc at work a few years ago when we had less snow, working at home for the time being.
Ended up having a play in a car park at the weekend. Had no snow in London and didn't realise until i got there that Essex had loads so took full advantage of it :hahaha:

My CSL is tucked up getting it's ventureshield redone, however I have borrowed a mate's 997 GT3RS on Cup+ so I ticked the cups vote!

First pic ive taken of my CSL, and had it over a month!
Been driving daily in the snow, on eagle F1s tho so not too bad.
Looks even cooler without a front number plate, I was changing it at the time!

I met some of you guys a few years ago at spa. Don t know all the guys who it was. I have driven a UK car on spa there. Tony/blade with his ferrari 360 CS was there and a guy named steve I think have driven Marks car at the time. Maybe some of you guys were there too.
That was a gathering from BM3W forum few years back.
This forum is awesome. I just bought a CSL for fun and some drifting:)
Steve Gill is joining us a lot with his white one on papenburg driftdays.
I guess a lot guys transferred to GT3 because there is no new CSL from bmw. That s a big pity. I had that wish too. But after doing a endurance race in a porsche GT3 i was done with it. I was fast with it. But i did not like the balance of it. So much understeer and you can not steer the car with throttle.
So i am still awaiting something new comming from bmw. GTS is a nice try but the price is going thru roof. It will be a car for collectors not for drivers for that sort of money.
I have had the CSL for inspection. It needed some money to go in.
New diff
new schocks
new oil and filter
new sparkplugs
new steeringwheel OLD wheel getting refurbished.
Software update
new airfilter.
More comming i quess:)
that s my short story for now. I go drifting again. :)

He is running an e92 M3 now with a 996 GT3RS as a trackday car. Oh, with a e36 M3 racecar...
