I wouldn't even humour the bloke with a reply mate! LOL

The only reply he's likely to get is to ask if it's a typo! :hahaha:

Do it! LOL
The guy I had mess me about messaged me 3 times whilst I was away on holiday in Rhodes earlier this year, then I got back and had numerous emails from him aswell, so called the bloke up, agreed a deal over the phone and he was going to book a flight that week, safe to say he didn't, then I messaged him and asked where the fook he was as I'd arranged time off work, got nothing back so not happy, emailed him that night and basically asked what was going on, he messaged back saying he didn't have the money so didn't book a flight yet let me take time off work to go home and get the car out the garage for him, he then offered me 2.5k less than we'd agreed and said take it or leave it, so I messaged him back in big letters Foxtrot Oscar! :bigcry: :bigcry:

To be honest, you can't fault the guy for trying but it all depends on what you've got the car up at? If its at £23k I'd say fair play for the £20k starting offer and work from there... but if its at £28k then LOL.
To be honest, I went to see a Type-R this year that was up for £5500 and it needed work and I told the guy 'If i'm honest I'd only pay £4200 for that' and he accepted it!!!

Anyone who texts an offer in a car is tyre kicking and time wasting as far as I'm concerned.
If someone is genuine surely they will call and speak to you about the car in detail before even making an offer.
On another note, I have personally bought 10-12,cars from the U.K ,including 2 CSL's, so please don't tar all us paddys with the same brush.

As I said Mark no offence meant towards anyone who is genuine ;)
The guy I mentioned actually rang me and we agreed a deal over the phone, he text me trying to contact me in the first place as I was on holiday with the Mrs :)
Evidentally there are just as many if not more english people that tyre kick and that pisses me off too! :bigcry:

In the past few years of buying and selling cars privately, I've developed an "anti B.S. tyre kicker" defense system  and have on a couple of occasions terminated viewings before they were arranged. Once I told a potential buyer to "Hop it" when he refused to sign the V5 (a legal requirement as per small print on the V5) after counting in excess of £11 000 cash, in £20s :bigcry:. Turned out to be a "wana-be-dealer" pretending to be a punter. What a Muppet  On another occasion I told a bloke there is a "Kwik Fit" down the road from me and they have thousands of tyres in stock for him to kick :blalalala: :hahaha: With time you learn to differentiate the genuine buyers from a complete time wasters
