I was going to buy one from him but in the end went for one direct from BMW, I researched him though, and general opinion is not to bad and certainly I found nothing to negative about him.
I believe if you take the car into bmw for a full check over you can then buy a warranty.
I think you will be fine buying from Nick though and he warranty's all his cars with bmw from what I hear.
if the bmw warranty has expired check with bmw how much it will be to put a warranty in place, there may be restrictions

As far as i know he simply buys and sells the cars, putting on an aftermarket warranty on if the cars don't have one.
If you want to compare cars its an ideal place to go though (he operates from his home) as you will see quite a few CSLs.

Isn't that what most dealer do, including BMW, thats how they make their money. I saw one at Dick Lovett BMW in Bristol a few years back that needed preping...after it had been done you wouldn't reconise it.

BMW dealers spend upwards of £2k on M3s... for example on mine they replaced discs/pads, tyres, resprayed the front and serviced it.

Don't know who you have been talking to but I know for a fact that this is rubbish.
Nick will keep the cars in thei original condition in order to not leave buyers feeling that the cars have been painted for a reason. ie. small scratches or stone chips.
He will however refurb wheels and get major things sorted but saying that if there are major issues, he probably will not retail the car anyhow!
Reason I know all this stuff is because I have spoken to him a few times about RS4's and CSL's and he seems like a genuine bloke, however his prices do vary!
and we have our first locked topic :bigcry:
thinks ive given this enough time
hats off to traders who deal in these cars, they keep prices high and have the enthusiast at heart (in most cases)
