As per thread title, what is the correct wheel bolt torque setting for the CSL ?
i use 84fp

THANX :thumbs: for the link. So 84fp would equal to about 115 Nm ? Will I be seeing U @ Brands tomorrow ? :whistle:

about 114 NM. Can't make Brands unfortunately:bigcry:, car is now going in for a inspection 2. have a good one!!

It's 88 ft/lb or 120NM +/- 10 actually according to BMW TIS

I rechecked all four wheel this afternoon and found the rears to have all 5 (per side) bolts in need of torque up. I'm glad I checked :thumbs:

quite a few of us have found that your wheel nuts are likely to come loose very quickly if youve just had your rims refurbed/painted. So if you have take extra care :smokin:

Well, she had all 4 of her wheels refurbed over a year ago ( under Rags ownership ) + NEW shoes fitted back in October '08. More recently, she's had an Inspection 2 @ Park Lane when I'm sure they would have had the wheels off to inspect the brakes / suspension / etc.. That was only 3000 miles ago, mid May '09. Strangely the fronts were perfectly tight, just not the rears but I'm glad I checked. Would have been totally embarrassing for the wheels to come off @ Brands :whistle:
