I've got some nearly new front pilot sports, if you're interested I'll measure the tread depth. They came with a set of CSL rims I bought, but am back on 18" rims so they are surplus to requirements.

Good choice if they are the Asymetrico F1s  How much have they quoted you for all four fitted ? I have a bill here in my CSL file for £620 all in for a full set (Cup size) that were fitted to my CSL before I bought it. They've now covered about 4K miles (including one Ring trip) and still have in excess of 5 mm all round  I find them very communicative (as far as tyres go) and great in the wet as well as in the dry.

Mine were £620 inc. VAT and fitment but that was in October 2008 and having just checked it was actually 6000 miles since the fitments so the wear rate is exceptional, still having in excess of 5 mm on the rears and 6 mm on the fronts, considering new they are 8mm. Happy days

Just gone F1's myself after being highly recommended for the winter season, and will see how they cope with the ring and the gp circuit next week too

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrico is a choice tyre for all year round Fast Road application + some moderate Track use, especially for the Ring, this time of the year:thumbs: At £620 for a set, it represent great value for money. Another reason why I bought the CSL that I have  CamSkills is a good place for tyres (as they often have offers on) provided you know a friendly tyre fitter who'll throw then on for you.
