I am looking to do a track day at Oulton Park soon, had new standard brakes and pads fitted at my local dealer last month. Do you think they will be ok for the track or should i be looking to change them? Also does anybody have a set of wheels for sale?

I run standard bmw pads, but i have uprated the hoses and dot 5.1 fluid and the brakes are ok round knockhill.

Thinking of doing the 22nd of April. It will be my first track day but i used to race Rotax Max Karts, so having spoke to Oulton park they recomend that i do the open pit lane with an instructor session.
Does any body have any coments on the TAR*OX braking system F2000 discs and TAR-0x12 calipwers?
yes open pitlane is good at oulton you will love it especially if its not too busy
I had a professional racing driver in with me all day last sunday at donington and can highly reccommend tuition
I think you should save your money and do your first day on standard brakes, just dont hammer them and do 1 warmup lap, then about 7 brisk ones then a cooldown :-D
