When I start and stop the car, there seems to be an awful lot of beeping going on. What's that all about then?

Hi mate,
Is it on neutral when you turn off the engine ?
If yes, you need to put gear.

it may be the seat belt warning on start up. If you haven't put your seatbelt on prior to turning the key it will sound for 5 seconds or so.
As for stopping(parking up), the car will sound a warning until you've selected reverse.
Nothing to worry about.

Didnt know there was a seat belt warnig beep.

The bong/beep will be the gear lever. Same happens when you stop and take the key out, ust knock the lever left to right a couple of times ;)

Also if the drive is more than 10 minutes and you don't get the arse out at least once, when you stop is does BEEP to tell you that you are driving like a girl:thumbs:
