What an awesome drive by JB yesterday! Big ball overtakes right through the race. Why some people give him such a hard time I'll never understand. So refreshing to see a real shake up in F1 this season. It's great to have 4 or five teams in genuine contention each weekend.

Also big respect to Bradley Smith. He's put in some stunning rides in this years 125 World Champs. Doesn't get anywhere near the exposure in the mainstream media he deserves. He's the best talent to come out of the UK for a long time. Watch his career take off when he moves up the classes.

He came second, although was on the last lap.

He'll shine when it finally clicks for him

Agree re Bradley! I met him a couple of years ago at a charity go kart event. He was ever so nice and really chatty. Bikes never get enough coverage imo.

I agree with Lawsy when he says F1 has become good to watch again. I was really looking forward to Sundays race and it didn't disappoint.

Well done Jenson and the Brawn team

Yep, I agree. He's got the natural talent and speed. Just needs to perfect his race craft and be ready for the tactical last lap 125cc banzai moves. He was stunning into turn 1 and 2 at Philip Island. Real big ball's corners. He passed two bikes in one corner there to take the lead.:smokin:

I'm sure if he let Simone through and followed him into the last lap he would have done the same move and won.

He only won it by having the better car at the beginning of the season. He's been mid field the 2nd half of the season, the other drivers just kept falling away. Don't get be wrong he deserved to win it but doubt whether he'll repeat it next year.

Hmmmm, that's it, good old British drumming down. He's World Champion but hey, let's just say he's not that good anyway and he'll never do it again. There isn't another driver who pulled the passes he did so often this season when he had to? You could just as easily say it was a well managed championship win.

After all, it's not like Schumacher, Hamilton, Hill, Mansell, Prost, Senna, Villeneuve, etc, etc, ever benefited from a better car...........................oh, hold on.........

And Niki Lauda pulls no punches when he speaks and had nothing but praise for him.

It will be interesting to see how he gets on next year?

I feel Hamilton showed some real class once his car was sorted towards the end of the year.

Would be good to see the two battle it out next year!!

Definately. It should be a great year. Interested to see how all these new teams get on. Great to have a name like Lotus back on the grid. F1 is not complete without them. It's going to be very tough though and I hope it doesn't spread the times out. The time gap front to back is very close at the moment. Gone are the days of grids separated by 5 or 6 seconds.

Definately look forward to some good battles next year. Brawn, Red Bull, McLaren, Fiat :gayfight:, and 2 or so other teams all closely fighting for the championship would be great to watch.

We still have one round to go and already talking about next year!!

Just as well Bernie did not get his way with the most amount of wins, JB would have been crowned champion several rounds ago and we would have been talking about next year several rounds ago.....

Very true, look forward to the new circuit, however it would be nicer if there was still something to win, like the constructors.
