I know i'm biased but the noise my braille titanium backbox coupled with 100 cell race cats makes is simply stunning, never heard anything like it.
AND..... it is almost silent when cruising, unlike all the millteks ive heard
AND..... it makes the other ss backboxes look/feel like they need to diet, its so light

It shouldn't be a problem.
1. I have seen cars (M5s, porsches and lambos) making a LOT of noise.
2. CSL is a noisy car and the police knows it
PS : I love the Swiss police btw. I did something stupid yesterday making an impressive drift in front of them (I didn't know they are there) and they let me go. I really appreciated what they did and I agree with them that it's not OK to make stunts in the public road. It motivated me to stop these things.

Me too, slowly. The strange thing about my MK2 Milltek is it's fine 90% of the time, I like it on start up, at very high RPM or when just driving along the highways, but it's the other 10%, around 3000 rpm under load, that is very hard on my ears :bigcry: I feel there are going to be many Milltek back boxes on fleeBay soon

No i bought a standard m3 to strip and track, (my csl has supersprint cats standard centre section with braille superlightweight titanium rear section,) thats why the csl was possibly for sale for 2 days, the standard m3 came with a milltek, the drive up from london was horrendous, drone city, first thing i did was sell the milltek:thumbs:, the standard m3 is also now sold:thumbs:, as i realised my csl is irreplaceable.
My mate is possibly selling his supersprint back box, non race version

Let me know how much he wants for it (maybe a swap for the Milltek :hahaha:) and get some pix, if U can. I don't necessarily need a light weight version (though it would be very nice ), as long as it's a clean, decent and well priced Super-Sprint back box to go with my SS 100 cell Cats I already have, that should be fine.

I asked him today, in fact its funny, because he rang me to ask if I could refit the supersprint for him cos his misses hates the milltek, it does not bother him when he is on his own in the car but with passengers he said its far too boomy.
Im in talks to getting a back box made, ill try to get it non boomy but nice and crisp, will be far cheaper than any others out there and just as light as the supersprint, hopefully ill get a run of them made:thumbs:
But in the meantime ill keep my eyes peeled for a supersprint

needs to be 0.5kgs ;)

Ta m8  I drove the CSL today in excess of 200 miles and i have to say that the ONLY time I actually find my MK2 Milltek annoying is around 2500-3000 rpm when I'm stuck in traffic, doing 40-50 mpg on an A road, constantly flicking the SMG from fourth down to third just to get the revs up over 3K. Other then that it's actually OK. Motor way runs are fairly quiet and the MK2 Milltek is not intrusive at all, but overall I think I'll have to fit some other back box (even the standard one)
