View Full Version : HK53 USP - History?
Would anyone know the history of this? It's currently up for sale and wanted to see if anyone knows any of it's past, or maybe has owned it previously?

Can I ask where the car is for sale as a lot have been on private plates so the number above may not jog someones memory...
It's up on autotrader, it's a SB with black wheels.

never seen that car before :smokin:
strange ad coz its very impersonal with no real details of the car extras to standard or condition, owners - no real attempt to big it up!
Seems very standard however with stock brakes, discs, ride height, engine bay but just balck rims and extra tinted windows
My guess is it is a secret dealer or someone who didnt run the car somehow
could be a good buy, worth seeing imho
Yea, will be popping up sometime soon to view it... definately a little fishy though, might be a dealer too... Guess I'll have to print off the 'CSL buying guide' too.
Anyone know how much to 'redo' wheels back to standard? lol

about £250-300
better to sell them here and buy some new or second hand CSL rims au naturel
but if you intend to do trackdays a second set is essential anyway

Sien, I might be interested in buying the black wheels to go with my black car, my existing wheels are ..ok.. but not show pony quality, especially the fronts, a little bit of rubbing is evident. Dont mind if you leave a full set of PS2's on the rims either,I can find something to do with them !!:hahaha:

Yep I agree...good price and I actualy like the black wheels...go for it.
Well, I checked it out and have to say fell in love right then and there. Woke up today to do all the normal checks and its all looking good, so will be picking it up tomorrow!!:thumbs::thumbs:
Have to say, I really didn't like the wheels in the picture, but they are simply stunning to behold on the car. Far better than I thought it would be from those pictures, and will probably leave as is as they are perfect. Apart from that it is a straight car with no other modifications whatsoever.
48k miles and has all the extras (Xenon, air con, rear parking, radio). 3 owners and has been taken care of very well with a proper full service history including the running in service. Current owner has a garage full of cars (a ridiculous 310hp wesffield track car too) and is freeing them up to buy a GTR. Perfect buy really, just lucky he can't write ads well and doesn't take good pictures!
To say I'm chuffed with it is an understatement and can't wait for tomorrow to take it for a good run!
Only things it needs are 2 new rears sometime soon. Currently PS2s all around but will test them out and see whether to replace with something different. Thanks all for the advice parted so far and I look forward to meeting some of you soon!
Cheers
Paul

Duncan, yes I think you may have to wait! Not sure whether it will look 'too' stealth with the plans I have but we'll see.
Derek, I have you to thank for taking me over to the dark side ;)

Lets hope it's a GOOD one
Well I went to view it again this morning, and although obviously black shows up every single little mark, it's still in good condition for it's age and mileage and so I signed on the dotted line and am now the proud owner of this 'un :thumbs::thumbs:
Had a very slow drive back following the Mrs so haven't had chance to open it up properly or explore the handling. Pleasantly surprised so far by the gearbox, although auto mode isn't that great. I have lots of reading of the manual to do tonight to get up to speed.
But so far on the 1.3hr drive back it all feels 'tight as a nut' and sounds bloody awesome. Full report to follow with piccies once I get a good go out in it!

Auto mode? What were you doing using that? :hahaha: :hahaha: Stick to manual shifts!
Glad you're happy with the car - enjoy it - and 'that' noise!

Speaking of 'that' noise, I'm viewing Jeff's CSL tomorrow. This beast has Supersprint 100 Cell cats and the NEW model MILTEK back box. That should be interesting to hear  :hahaha: :supz:

I can only imagine! If I didn't need to carry around the little 'un every so often I would do the same... but as it stands it's loud enough for me!
And yes, I should be hit in the testes for using auto mode, but still getting used to 'having' to shift, after having an auto 335i that is just as happy at both (and not great at either).

I understand about the little one, but since I still don't have one of those ;) and I'm often accused by my better half for acting like one, I'm going to view Jeff's CSL with an open mind and terrified ears :hahaha: Lets hope I don't lose all of my hearing in one afternoon :hahaha:
