I used to miss driving mine after a couple of days. I did the sensible thing and bought an every day car so i could save the CSL for 'special occasions.' I'd always come home after work and take it for a blast though!

Then I need to get the KW's back on and set up (Clubsports) and get ready for the Nov ring trip ;)

Might get those wheels done in Matt black or gunmetal

Daz, ref your crack :hahaha:... will the repair be under warranty or otherwise, I must admit I havent checked my/Andrews former motor yet, just coming up to 60k, and given that it has been "Rung" a few times might be worth me looking, any chance of a pic at all? no worries if it means laying down on snow or something ! Panic not Andrew, bought as seen mate !!

BMW are reparing all cracks for subframe in or out of warranty last time i checked.

But if yuou are running non standard suspension or bushes you may have to remove them first

I doubt you have any issues Duncan as you have a cage fitted so this should make the car more rigid. Check the floor of the boot.

Thx Shimmy, good point well made, dont know when cage went in though, so will check anyway, dont fancy taking all my suspension off to claim under warranty, I have my own welder so will get him to look at it if need be. Is the crack in such a position that it can be drilled at the end to stop it going further?

Yep all under the warranty ... although reverted all to STD before it went in just in case

Cant see it in the pics, I dont have any but when the dealer took them and sent to BM you could not see anything so they had to come out for an inspection to verify it etc
