Why is there such a massive difference in Cup prices at the moment? Loads of places have fronts up between £260-290 and rears from £360-380 each!
Elite are currently £234 fronts and £334 rears, delivered. Just snapped them up.
Costco local to me said they were not running the 20% discount? Anyone got this discount?

Your telling me! The difference between the cheapest and most expensive for a full set is nearly £250!!
Mind you, I think Elite are now out of stock. I must have got the last set because the price I paid has now disappeared.

i called costco nearest to me (Purley Way, Croydon), they told me they will be doing the discount mid to end of October. Will post as soon as they are doing the deal, should be the same for all costcos.

My local tyre man gave me these prices last Friday as what he can buy in at, they are genuine as I was looking at the screen with him ! He will stick a bit on for himself of course.
Cups front £216 rears £278
PS2 front £163.20 rears £221.40

Last set bought was £1056 all fitted from event tyres which was last year. Unfortunately the worst price I was quoted was from the lady at Thorneys who said they were around £1500 a set and when asked why so much, was told it was because of the price of oil :hahaha:. A local garage here on the Isle of Wight (where I now live) matched the price we got from Event.

Costco offer is valid but at the END of the month. See my other post.
Also remember you can buy the CUPS, then store the tyres until you need them fitted which they will still do for free. Officially this has to be within 12 months, but in reality, I've taken tyres I've had for two years to them

Cup rubber tends to deteriorate in storage - so i've been told. The fresher the better

Is that before or after the 25% off?
EDIT: Just checked and it's after.. I think I'll go for Cups then for the same price!

LOL, I got excited then thinking there was a track I hadn't heard of .... I am on the Wight Isle, not the Man Isle but you could still say the whole island could be a track
