Mine is a bhp decrease, 550bhp in the rs6, 500bhp in the e55's, 500bhp in the 996tt, 450bhp evo is for sale, and now im making do with a measly 360bhp:bigcry:

- Polo Coupe 1.4 (MAD moment after I sold the perfectly reliable Golf)
- Mondeo 1.8i after I burnt the clutch out on Polo
- BMW M3 Evo 1996 on a 'N'. 6 weeks ownership, wrote it off after coming off a roundabout sideways and running out of talent into a tree
- BMW M3 Evo 1997 on a 'P'. To replace aforementioned M3 Evo.

Great fun, but pick the right spec. Mine had an unpainted body (looked great when polished but a pain to clean), a very heavy clutch (stopped the missus driving) & low gearing 90mph at 6000rpm (not good for long journeys). Wear old clothes as you get covered in stones, tar, etc. Are you missing the csl?

Yeah they do. They were very light on the rear end, rear wheel drive and had leaf suspension on the backs. This made them ridiculously controllable when sliding.

Yeah, gearbox in the rear and a "torque tube" enclosing the drive-shaft. Having the engine at the front and gearbox at the rear gave pretty good weight distribution.
