I use RS29 in mine and i get some rumbling on mine after a trackday day but my discs are getting worn so that might have something to do with it.

its unfortunate but DS2500 come with the Kit but are not suited to track days on the front callipers on e46

normally the cause of this is pad deposit, a layer of pad adheres to the disc (which is normal) but with DS2500 and the high temps at Bedford chances are the layer is not even and causes rumble, even to the point if thinking discs are warped (but they probably are not)

I did exactly this at Bedford 3 years ago. AP skimmed the discs but in real terms the best way to deal with it is to get some RS29 and run them hard. They should clean up the disc especially if the disc is new alternatively if you arent doing many track days , whip the discs off and gently sand down the face of the disc by hand and the pads and put it back together again.

there is a chance road use will cure it but it may take some time.

they ought to have the bite but you might need to get the temps up with some spirited night tme driving:thumbs:

might not go immediately but quicker than S2500

this is assuming you didnt come in too hot and warp the discs or put the handbrake on!:bigcry:

Was my first full day track day too, after doing brands evening last month. Out of interest what set up were you using on track? I used s5 for the morning and got the DSC off & S6 soon after and must say im never going back to using the M button again as it is unbelievable how much it restricts you, loosing you so much time!

Regarding that 635csi that had some shocking brakes and control. I got in front of him just before a bend and forgot how good the APs are and he swerved onto the grass avoiding me and nearly hit me as I was coming out the corner! But During the end of the day I heard a few screeches, turned round to see it at it again in a spin. :hahaha:

Great day

You can try getting up speed that rhymes with nun and then slam on the brakes hard down to about half that. Obviously on a private road with no one behind you, repeat three or so times, see if that clears your pad deposits
