Guys,

As posted previously people have mentioned it would be good to have a London (ish) meet and get a few CSLs together.

Ade has suggested The Fairmile Arms in Cobham which is a little bit on the outskirts of London but would suit a few people. Parking is plentiful and its a good place for a drink/meal. If people have other suggestions for good pubs etc. then say so.

So, ideas please. Thursday nights are always good I reckon so how about:

October 8th
October 15th
October 22nd

Please state your preference. Not sure about you guys but don't normally get back from work until just before 7pm so 8.00-8.30pm would be best for me.

Right, over to you guys, lets get something sorted.

I will post this also on Mtorque as the CSL owners on there are a good bunch and it would be good to get a few more CSLs together.

CONFIRMED PEOPLE SO FAR

Any date works for me I think. At the moment I'm a Londoner although by then I might be a West Sussex resident by then...... if the move happens. Either way, I should be there.

Cheers,
Jeff

Yep, any date works for me, although the earlier in Oct = slightly more light/warmer?

If the Fairmile doesn't work, I'm also game to do something with good food... maybe somewhere like Chiswick/Hammersmith just off the A4 as you come into town from the West? There's a lovely Vietnamese resto (Saigon Saigon) with street parking immediately outside - free after 630pm.

sounds like a Fantastic idea chaps

I know it's a bit far away.... but we normally organise a dawn raid and head to goodwood for a brekkie meat... leaving from just outside guilford cathedral (we being PETROLHEAD NIRVANA...http://www.petrolheadnirvana.com/ )

I lived in the south east up until 4 weeks ago and have just moved a lot further south otherwise would have been up for this.

Ade, I was at Saigon Saigon last week and it was very good. I think first we need a few more replies to the thread to get an idea of numbers and then find out whether people want to eat or just have a drink. Chiswick/Hammersmith suits me perfectly but not sure about others.

Another place is Pissarro near Chiswick which has its own car park as well and is good for eating, not sure about just a drink though.

Ade,

Good to meet you to and good to have a chat about the CSL. Thankfully the trip back into town was a lot easier (and quicker!) than the trip out!

Look forward to meeting the rest of you on the future.

Sorry Ade, but when the OP doesn't confirm what's happening then this is bound to happen. long way for me to travel for no-one to potentially turn up. :(
