Hi all and thanks in advance.
I am sure the question about wraps has been asked a 100 times but do any of you guys n gals have any first hand experience of getting a CSL wrapped and can you make any reccomendations ? (and the cost)
I will be taking the car home from Germany and travelling through the U.K. at the end of Sept / Oct, so I dont mind having to travel to anywhere in the U.K. as I do really want to get a top job done on it.
Thanks again
Mark

My good mate owns Spectral Design over in hook , hampshire.
http://www.spectraldesign.co.uk/vehicle_wraps.html
He has done all the CSL Cup cars inc mine / trucks and support vehicles and his own C4S as well as a great deal of exotic machinery, could not rate his work high enough (I know I would be bias) ! but really top notch and attention to detail is second to none.
Ring Lee and mention me and the CSL register and im sure he will do you a deal:thumbs:
Or PM me and I will give you his moby ;)

Another thumbs up for Raccoon in terms of the quality of their product. Although perhaps not the cheapest and worth shopping around.

Just be aware that in some cases taking them off will require a respray...

If you want a clear protective film rather than a wrap, then Nick Phelps at AMI using ventureshield is excellent.

yep although the ones i have seen tend to be damaged where the old car was resprayed at some point.
IF i do mine then it will be before i respray the front end!

I have no specific loyalty to any wrapper... Raccoon are one of the best in the business although I agree not the cheapest. I've used them on more than one occasion.

Lee has just taken his wrap of his porsche no re-spray needed, depends on type of vinyl and what else you use to put it on with (i.e take the time), took an hour to remove and NO markings on it whatsoever.
He says racoon are also good, but worth talking to both:thumbs:
And I know Lee personally so can recommend him and his work:whistle:

What numbers are interested in a wrap?
Seem to be a few wanting but nothing being pursued.
State plain colour or design! I am getting a good price from someone I have previously dealt with. Just need numbers.
Add your name below for rough idea of no.

To simplify things Price has been confirmed based on plain colours and I can get plain coloured wraps for £800 + vat. More complex wrap designs would cost additional and would vary. The work would be carried out by raccoon. The wraps come with 5yr guarentee and a further £150 to remove the wrap assuring there will be no damage to original paintwork. The wrap will take 2 days to apply and 1 day if wanting to remove.
Names below if interested or contact me for more info.
1. Kk - n/a
2. Bealo- plain colour
3.

Hi lee not sure what's ment by part wrap but it's the whole car, apart from cf roof and splitters, but your choice if prefered covered. Wouldn't think it would be additioal charge for those parts covered.

Spoke to ventureshield who only offered a part wrap in clear. Hence me asking carbonkid. I'm def interested at £800 for a full wrap in either matte black or white possibly. It does sound cheap like and seen as I have a touch of ocd it would need to be a good finish:hahaha:

It is cheap! Its done by the Raccoon who do the gumball cars and their work is second to none.
Quoted by Raccoon:
They are an established graphics production company, they offer full, detailed warranties in conjunction with both Avery Commercial Graphics and 3M, two of the World’s leading self-adhesive film manufacturers. We have both approved printing systems and fully trained wrap applicators, which enables us to offer performance warranties on printed graphics of up to 5 Yrs, and on solid colour graphics of up to 8 Yrs. The best available.

I can vouch for raccoon. Used them for the businesses Smart cars and wrap came off (after a year or so) with no issue.
Race car is currently getting done!
