OK, here's the low down:

1. WOW! What a car!! The noise, and the power and the AP brakes!!! Steering feel not as good as a Porsche (can this be improved?), but this is one amazing car!

2. I don't think it's for me. I found myself doing silly speeds to hear that amazing noise, and I'm pretty sure I would lose my license within a week. I could therefore only get the most out of it on a track, and I'd be hesitant driving my P&J on track.

3. I'm going to stick to that girly car I've been looking for (:gayfight:), so now is the chance to grab yourself a bargain before anyone else does... (Can't believe I'm letting this car go!)

SPEC

The original invoice isn't present but I could make out the following:

1. AC
2. Xenons
3. Business Radio
4. AP Brakes all round
5. Yellow pads (Pagid?)
6. Removal of top speed limiter

CONDITION

Good:

1. PS2 tyres look almost new (I believe it has a set of cups too)
2. AP brakes and pads look almost new
3. Rest of exterior and interior look mint (see below)

Bad:

1. Small light stone chips on front bumper and bonnet
2. Couple of scratches on drivers door CF trim and centre console
3. One rear wheel has 1 inch narrow chip / corrosion round the rim

OTHER DETAILS

1. Only 19k miles
2. 2 owners (2nd owner bought it 2005) - both were in Sussex
3. All services done on time (Running in around 1300, Oil Service around 9k, Inspection 1 around 18k). Coopers say it isn't due Inp 2 until Oct 2010.
4. The car seems to have done just 1k miles in the last year
5. All history is from Coopers Croydon
6. Alcantara wallet and all bills etc present
7. Tax - I'm not sure
8. MOT - due in October I think
9. No paperwork on Warranty BUT the dealer says it has Exended Warranty, and so I called Coopers who have confirmed that it does indeed have Warranty with £250 excess that expires 19th November 2009 - GOOD NEWS!

This car looks straight and drives great, but hey I'm no expert. Just posting all this info because the garage owner Steve is a top guy, and I think this CSL is a relative bargain at £29,995.

Someone better buy it before I realise what I'm missing out on!!!

lol wish I was on commission as I need the money!!

Steve opened the garage specially for me on Sunday and I drove 128 miles to see it. It looks like a good example, but then I'm no expert and couldn't tell you if it's had a panel or two or respray lol! That's why I would have done an Rac and maybe Bmw inspection myself.

I'm still thinking about it, but there is a great spec Cayman S at OPC Mayfair for a little bit more... Though like the feeling of the wind in what hair I've got left!

Hmm.
