View Full Version : Going to a CSL CUP meet

Hi guys

was thinking about attending a race - just to see what all the fuss is about... May sound like a stupid question(s), so apologies in advance...

1) How long does the day last
2) Is it easy to get in on the day
3)How easy is it to walk around the paddocks to see what the diff teams are doing

1. Usually 0900-1800. One CSL Cup race in the morning and one in the afternoon. There are other series races during the day (Dunlop Cup, Mini Miglia amongst others)

2. Depends on the track i suppose - i found both Donington & Castle Combe easy to get to and park.

3. Probably depending on track - but i was able to have a nose around the paddock at both events (cheers Dazza ;))

Cheers Steve. Only Jon's was there when I went, but I wasn't sure his was actually a CSL - thought it may have been an M3 with bits on.

Two more coming. One is a Cat D being built up by a guy in the SW and another is a lhd ring car coming over from Germany.

Yep - I'm going to start attending as well.

Not Croft, but intend on going to Snetterton - if anyone heads up / across in convoy from London, let me know :thumbs:

still not sure which day is race day as the official calendar had it as a 'monday'. Has that been changed?

Think that was a typo .. its the sunday as per norm :thumbs:

Might go to Croft but it's a bit of a drive from Norfolk...

If i'm in UK i will defo be at Snett for both days.... :thumbs:

Im going up thursday and staying 4 nights , driving back Monday after the rush hour:thumbs:

Both races are in the PM on sunday at Croft last one at 5 me thinks
