I've got a 335i and the speedo does not read to 330kph, so it's not that.
I'm afraid this man may have got an X5M or X6M. Not my cuppa at all but congrats all the same. Nothing like that new car feeling.:smokin:

Well didn't really have a choice with colour or trim - it was a super special deal to clear stock by the dealer (cheapest I've ever paid for a M3 product).
Wish I could swap my Cooper S for one of those:drool:
Well mine kept breaking down and it started to royally piss me off, so I got rid of it.

Well, I am certainly enjoying having all sorts of creature comforts and technology at the touch of a button (Nav, TV, 10 speaker sound system, parking sensors, electrict fold mirror, headlight assistance ect ect) - this car is simply loaded with technology and gizzmos - it's almost mind boggling. I am still reading through the manual to find out how to operate everything!!:banghead:
First thing you notice however with the E92 M3 is how heavy the car is (and how solid it feels) and how light the steering is. The car is designed to be lot more usable than the E46 M3 generations (CSL included) for sure.
I will give a full review and comparison with the CSL when the car is fully run in (2000km) ... time to get driving I think

No surprise that you've mentioned the orange peel. It's almost ridiculous to be honest. I personally don't mind it, but all new BMWs seem to have a ridiculous amount of orange peel in its paint system now. I've been told that it's due to the more environmentally friendly paint that BMW uses to paint their cars.

Seems to me that they have painters who drink the paint and pi$$ it out onto the car, and applied the finishing touch with a sponge! :hahaha:

Very Nice car, a bit Lardy compared to the CSL but they don't hang around....

I also had big issues with orange peel on my 335i Msport Touring. It's Le Mans Blue and like you say, the paint is rediculously bad in places. I gave up complaining after a 6 months.
I've been spending the last week or so considering a change to an M3 Saloon but can't find the right deal yet. The other problem is my 335 is only 10 months old and I'm having great trouble convincing my better half why the change is so vital!:bigcry:
I'm also waiting for Ant @ Simpson MS to sort out engine up-grades. Maybe 400+ bhp and torque will make me wait a little longer.:smokin:
