Took a day off to visit Simpson Motorsport again to have a few things done... ;)
My main reason for going was to have a new Supersprint Lightweight Racing rear silencer fitted and a dyno. Additionally, as most of my driving of late has been on track days i have had a set of Pagid RS29 pads fitted all round in place of the Ferrodo DS2500s that came with my AP BBK. I also treated the engine to an extra oil change to keep it in tip top form.
Needless to say i received the usual first class service from Julian, Anthony and team, and i also met AlexGTT again as he had popped in to put his 'other car' on the dyno! Some may also recognise a certain Britcar '316i' that was skulking around the garage  :hahaha:

Looks ace, the SS rear pipes look the best imho out of the proven options.
Do you have the SS cats and centre section?

I did it so that i could stick it on the oil thread - several members seem to not believe TWS oil is still available...!

working
The SS does sound well, but not as good as the roar :supz:
I miss the induction sound from inside the car with non standard cats, but from the outside you can still hear it, bit of a pain for my mate as I keep getting him to switch, on off on
Can you hear the induction still ?

want to know what it sounds like in the car too. loud/too loud etc? definitely imagining it sounds better than the milltek system though.

I certainly prefer the SS sound to the Milltek - exhaust noise is a personal preference thing i suppose.
The SS is louder in some respects than the Milltek - but in a way that my ears like - if that makes sense!
