Aren't they about £220 each....I need a passenger side one but keeping eye on ebay...could be some time, especially as Dave bloody buys them all.

I have to say that some of the carbon parts on this car is just priced ridiculously ...
I have a brand new set (April/08 mould) that I'll sale and ship.

I would stick to OEM BMW. I have bought 2 sets off Ebay now and neither of them fit right. Have just ordered a new N/S one, should be £222 but managed to get a good discount. Taking 3 weeks to get it though!

You can get them re-laquered for a small amount of pennies then stick them on ebay and as long as you can get more than the cost of getting them laquered then £ in.

I've had sets off ebay aswell - neither of them fitted, but I did get my money back.

Ok. Cheers. I have sent mine away for Epoxy Top Coating only, as I prepped before hand. Just dont have the time to do myself, will be done time I get back from hols. :thumbs:

how did you prep them Alex, a bit of wet and dry ? if so did you take all the old lacquer off ?

Someone on here was getting their's re-laquered but they never posted up results. Mine are in good nick, just peeling a bit.

I got a set of mine redone - will get some photos tonight.
You have make sure that the painter uses a good grade clear coat - otherwise it'll just crack and peel off.

Andy,sorry for the delay but I am not in the UK. There may be one in Germany but I never asked. Fee parts are not to be tyrned down.
Someone on here was getting their's re-laquered but they never posted up results. Mine are in good nick, just peeling a bit.
mine were re-finished, he took them back to the bare carbon to get the stone chips out, they were perfect, but sadly fqed again now :bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:

Sounds to just be a normal bodyshop job then. Do you mind what they cost Hazy? They eff'd due to stone chips or did the laquer not take?
