After much deliberation, i made my decision.

Im happy to say that I am now the proud owner of a CSL,

Bought from rich w on here.

Must say, WOW, i did not expect the csl to be so good, everything about it is just perfect, totally suits me and my driving style,
I just could not get comfortable in my evo, could not relax.
But as soon as i drive the csl it blows me away, every drive is an occasion.

Few little things i need to tidy up and a few additions i need to buy, but im already booked on the oulton park trackday on sat 1st aug, anyone on here going.

Seems to be a few old Evo owners switching to CSLs and vice versa. I had an Evo 9 with 380BHP and the CSL seems a far superior car. I never felt comfortable in the Evo even having owned and being used to Scoobs, couldnt really put my finger on why....

Welcome to the fold mate. After some miles around Ireland the past 6 days, I have fallen in love with mine all over again. Need to take her home to Scotland and give her some TLC now, after plenty of whoring over here on the Emerald Isle!

There's not, keyboard drivers are always the fastest! :hahaha: I just :smt055 being out there.

Just wondering if you bandits have to use Auto modes on track? Any other things to help? Just curious.

Did not know the csl had an auto mode, what is this please enlighten me, ;)

Lets see how many of you keyboard drivers turn up eh, ill be there will you?

I used the paddles for everyday use but recently at the Ring had to revert to Auto with MTrack on. I felt it didnt change down when i wanted it to leaving me in too high of a gear leading to a bit of understeer.

Was that in A5 mode. If your really 'on the pipe' as they say I've found it's in the right gear about +80% with a bit of help from driver, does depend on circuit though. Oulton is the hardest track for me because of this but Donny is the best and is only really tricky down Hollywood. I find it hard in wet though to keep it from changing up because can't be as hard on throttle.

Will look into 1st August, which tdo is it?

Are you doing any others?

Likewise

I use a mix of A5 & M5 with m-track and sports on.

I find auto up change when flat out and down change when under heavy braking, brilliant.

I use manual mode in twisty parts of a circuit.

and a steering knob to pull doughnuts with in the paddock afterwards. lol
