Removing CF panels

Anyone ever removed the rear CF panels? If so any tips on removing them, not had a look yet but just before I do:thumbs:

Very easy to do ...

1. Take the rear seat base cushion out (pull front up and slide forward) - the bit you sit on (be careful not to scratch the carbon panels - it's a very tight squeez - I would recommend masking the carbon parts first). You then need to take the side 1/4 seat back cushions out (there's a clip on the top seatbelt trim (part 24 below) - pop in the centre part the rest of the clip will come loose - then lift away the seatbelt trim by popping out the part next to the window motor arm (part 4 below) - I'll get some photos for you later) - once you've removed the seatbelt trim, you can then remove the side 1/4 cushions - pull from the top stright out and then lift up (must lift up as there's a plastic catch behind it and if you don't you'll break this - also when you pull straight out the clip that holds the top in can often break - don't worry if it does break, the clip in part is a separate piece which can be replaced - part number 52208099555 (part 19 in pic below) - the cushion should come away).

2. peel back the rubber weather strip around the rear panels a little bit (helps to get your figures behind the panel)

3. There's 3 front pop clips that hold the panel in on the front section (one on top, one pretty much smack ban in the middle of the carbon part and one further down) - they are in VERY tight - so best to have a plastic trim tool to help the process

4. Pull the top one first, then the bottom one - and then gently pop the middle one out - DON'T PULL ON THE CARBON PANEL ITSELF - YOU WILL BREAK IT!! - try and get your hand behind it either using a trim tool or a plastic spatula and pop the plastic clip out along with the panel.

5. The remainder of the pop clips will just come off once those front sections are loose.
