Im looking to buy a CSL as my next car and wondered if anyone has experience of warranties other than BMW's own?

How much would it cost to add a BMW warranty to a car that doesnt have one as long as it has FBMWSH?

Cheers

Ben

I would always go for the BMW warranty.
To add it to a car its £1,100 i think or there abouts but you can't make a claim in the first month, or you have to pay the bill

Cheers. Thats not too bad. I had a feeling it was 2k for some reason.
Does it get any cheaper the second year?

Just be aware that the BMW one almost doubles in cost when the car hits 60k miles - and doesn't cover quite as much

It has got a bit cheaper, you can decide how extensive you want the cover too. Aftermarket ones are generally cheaper because they cover less.

You can't go wrong with a BMW one. I've had all sorts done in the last couple of months including a new diff.

It's a great feeling, you just hand the keys over with a "fix it" and get a few grands work done and pick it up without paying a penny!

Avoid aftermaket warranties with companies such as WarrantyWise. I used them for my Maserati and was very unimpressed by them as I found they will 'Wangle' out of what is expected.
