great service from the factory:thumbs:
fitted an alcon kit about 6 weeks ago when i put the nearside disc on i noticed it had some runout as it was brand new i figured it was my hub but i had to use the car in the meantime. fitted a new hub but when i was in the isle of man i had brake judder so i guessed id warped the disc.
also i fitted carbotech pads which were far too aggressive.
next step was to get the rotors surface ground and new pads, put it back together and it was worse than ever by this stage im well not happy
spoke to the main man at alcon on monday he said send them back and we will have a look this was tuesday,explained i was off to the ring friday and spa monday but he promised he would sort it in time.
being a bit sceptical i thought that aint going to happen just not enough time and through previous experience i figured they just say it was my fault for not bedding correctly bla bla bla so took them off and even refitted the standard stuff as i figured that would be the last i saw of them.
i sent them off tuesday he rang me yesterday to say the was a problem with the bell for some reason either manufacturing fault or damaged in transit and they would be sending 2 complete new disc and bell assy's pads and they'd be there thurs am
well true to his word they turned up this morning and he even rang this afternoon to make sure everything was ok and to say enjoy your weekend!
