View Full Version : Cups and discount
I've been quoted £1167.26 for a set of full fat Cups through Steve at Simply Tyres. They advised that if we were to do a group buy, they could offer a discount (% tbc).
First of all, anyone know of cheaper for a single set of Cups?
If the price is cheap, then a group buy discount sounds like an even better deal. Who would like in on the group?

I think thats about standard going rate i was quoted £250 for fronts and £350 for rears making it £1200 approx
If we were to get a good discount taking it nearer to £1000 i would be very tempted

Steve quoted me £1104 inc vat supplied only on 11th Feb for group buy so +£60 is pretty good for singlke fitted purchase.
My local kwik fit still give me best prices and service (coz they also change my stored cups for cash) and i am getting 4 REARS only for £1280

Wow, I didn't think Kwik Fit could source MPSCs. That's a good deal for just rears. I'll give a call to my local fitter to find out if they can source them.
I'll check with Simply Tyres what their group discount rate is, but I suspect they are not as competitive as they used to be... probably the high demand at present with the Spring season open.
£1k would be a good price for a full set.

Hi Ade,
This was tried recently but it seems to have fell flat with people getting they're own sets:

I ended up getting my own set from Elite 3 weeks ago for £1127 inc VAT delivered.
I would still be up for another set if they were at a good discount price of course! ;)
