Its been discussed on another post and was mentioned that maybe another thread could be started.

As above, little www.CSLregister.com flyers to place on CSL's spotted when on our travels. Could be ANYWHERE in the world, a couple kept in the wallet for example. See someone parked up, slap one on it with your Username on it?

I seen one in Hong Kong airport a couple of years ago, would have been perfect. I'm sure others have been spotted in Supermarket car parks, BMW Dealers, etc etc. Even send a couple to Thorney and Simpsons???

Was just an idea to try and drum up more CSL owners onto the Forum. Don't get me wrong, its good enough at the moment but the more the merrier.

Karbonkid has offered his services as has some fancy printer he can get use of.

Let me know what you think and tell me I'm a tool for suggesting such a thing, if you feel that way! :hahaha:

Although since I have owned mine, I have never seen another CSL in a random sighting.

I will need some though as I am going to the ring in 2 weeks and I think there might be a couple there I can get!! :hahaha:

Tim, to be honest, I've only ever seen them on Trackdays, Customers cars at dealers and Hong Kong airport! But, there seems to be a few spotted lately so thought strike when the irons hot and all that.

The 'Ring, perfect place to grab a few I'm sure.

Not sure I could do them in 2 weeks, maybe. I would need everyone whos interested to add your name to a list so I can get numbers together.

You could even get a list of important contact details put on the back, like a sponsor. (Jay@GleamingKleen, Thorneys, Simpson, BMsport, CATDT)etc.

I will have to get a price first, but need to know numbers and quantity of cards for each person. I think 25-50 copies each is good.

The card could contain on the back:

GLEAMINGKLEEN.CO.UK
THORNEYMOTORSPORT.COM
SIMPSONMOTORSPORT.COM
BMSPORT.COM
CATDRIVERTRAINING.CO.UK
etc...

The card could contain on the front:

CSLREGISTER.COM With Logo

That sounds spot on mate, never thought of links on the back etc. Nice one.

We would need to get our own URL correct though...

Why don't you put the "flyer" up on a webpage, that way people can print their own as they require,
Something simple, maybe 10 to an A4 page, print and cut etc

I would like to reply with some quip about you'll have to catch me first.......

But I would only be setting myself up for more grief as you pass me on the ring throwing flyers out the window at me!!!! :hahaha:

Yep, combining KarbonKids suggestion with Whop would be good

@ E46ACS it would be funny going round the ring dropping propoganda CSL register leaflets out the window aimed at all Porsche & Audi drivers :hahaha:

...lol :hahaha:

The quality would be nowhere near as good as lytho/ digital and paper would be 350gsm+ resulting in a professional looking job. It could be done on your own inkjet printers but will need a set up and then over type the different forum names. Im not upto scratch with this sort of set up online. Computer wizard anyone?

I have taken some time to come up with a layout. I have kept it simple by not customising everyones different forum names, so suits all. This I could get professionally printed and finished at a low price or you could print on your mickey mouse printers & a pair of snips:whistle:

Whats your thoughts?

I agree with Karbonkid, to have them printed on decent, weather proof, laminated film will look more professional and 'exclusive' but yes, we can keep the option of having the online if anyone wants to print a load off for some kind of motorfair or something...

I downloaded that attachment but my word program must be a bit ancient as I didn't get any colour or photos? Would have to put a really good photo of a members car. I'm sure there will be a couple knocking about.

Top work mate.

Since Shimmy swatched a load of CSL's at Murkett's today, I thought I would bring this thread to the Forum again.

Any more ideas?

Even if they didn't have to be 'Member specific', just a more generic layout and then if they join and post, we can identify who placed it after that.

I wouldn't mind contributing for a more professional product if that's what it took leaving the option of printing out your own if more preferable to some members.

I still have the BCard file I created. Do you want a copy Sailorbaz for the cheap option?

sailorbaz

Is that the one that was posted before? I tried downloading it before but when I opened up, the format was all to shot.

What about the decent quality option? If we had a layout sorted, I'm sure there's a printers about my way that would do it, unless you have a cheaper, better way of doing it mate?

If you PM me your email I can send across the Doc. and have a look. Thats the easiest way without any contributions and commitment from others.

I can get them printed at work at the fraction of the price, but depends on the route wanting to go.
