Thanks guys... the grey came out a little lighter than I initially expected when speccing the colour (it's a vinly wrap btw) but actually I'm very happy with it and wouldn't change it. The car isn't discreet but then that's not really the aim and it's purely a toy for race weekends, trackdays etc.
The orange is actually flouro-orange although it's hard to demonstrate in photos. Wheels are powdercoated and for durability I prefer this finish over paint.
Raccoon did the wrap and in fairness to them the job they have done is superb. Last time with the white/red finish I had some reservations and I pointed this out. This time they raised the bar (and I think they have had farmore experience at wrapping cars in the last 18 months) the finish really is A1 this time.

That looks cracking mate, I like alot. As you said, track car so it should look different. On the road however, I might look twice but for the wrong reasons.
Dyno Rod springs to mind!!!

Not sure to be honest...grey is a hard colour match anything with I think. Do like the Orange though and on a black car I think it would look even better.

Thanks for the comments guys... like I say not to everyopnes taste but in the flesh I think it looks fab. The flouro-orange is super tricky to capture in a photo, the wheels and the stripe always loook a different colour.
So far as colour coding the front grill etc.. I think that could look pretty naff. I'm not even a fan of the black grilles which I know some of you here like, just not for me.
My car is hopefully more about go than show - I've actually got a new engine to put into it but it's taking forever for Jags & Nigel at BMsport to find time to fit/map as they have a few race cars in prep. But it should be pretty pokey - N/A with cams, lifters & head work to make them fit, bigger throttle bodies, custom manifold & exhaust - can't wait.

Y but white is so last year.... everywhere I look maufacturers are selling white cars and everyone is buying them. I've had white cars for years but right now I don't want white as it's too common.

I wouldn't have the grey myself, but I do like it.
I think it works really well with the orange.

Looks cool! Shame the oranges don't match, but i would love a set of BMSport wheels for ultimate ASW points.

The oranges do match... but the colours always wash out on the stripe in pics.

Tom,
The car looks good, I would like to see it in the flesh. Am looking forward to a cheeky little outing once the engine work has been done.

Or here.... (below)... but either way I can guarantee I came up with the colour scheme independently. My wheels are actually flouro orange, I think the megane and the lambo are more like flouro red.
Ah well, nice to stimulate some debate.

Indeed! Here's another variation on fluorescent red wheels:

I was all set to get my track day wheels sprayed fluorescent red but after seeing an Evo 8 with them at Donny i was put off as they look pink in a certain light! I considered fluorescent orange but they just didn't quite sit with the SG paint too well IMHO. I have now gone for a slightly more conventional colour instead...!
