Does anyone know if you can get good non-genuine front splitters. I know that ebay does a few, but they are all for the standard M3, and do not fit the CSL.
I was only thinking of replacing as mine have a few stone chips on them, but at £175 +VAT each from the stealer!! I'll live with the chips for that. It is a ridiculous price for them - I know they are made from carbon fibre, but carbon fibre has been around for a good while now, plenty of people are using it on various different kinds of road cars nowadays - it's no longer limited to F1 cars.
Perhaps one of you knows someone who works in the carbon fibre industry and could organise a group buy to make it worth while?

Plenty of threads talkings about the carbon splitters already - somebody's trying to organise a group buy on them from a third party supplier. I've seen plenty of replica ones out there and to be honest I wouldn't bother. The OEM weave is very tight and very straight compared to the replicas. One thing also, the OEM splitters are very thin, allowing a nice fitment against the bumper opening - all the replicas I've seen (even the really good ones) are always slightly thicker in material and less rigid.

To be honest, if it's not damaged and it's only clear coat stone chips, it's actually not hard to rub them down with some sand paper and have them re-cleared - they will come up as good as new. I am doing this to an used set of mine at the moment and it's come up as good if not better than new (I have a new set to compare).
