Cotswald Gloucester..their master tech is brilliant and the service is first class......although he left last year and set up om his own so for anything but service I take my car to him....very cheap and really knows his stuff...
If you are local then I cannot recommend him highly enough...

I met him at Simpsons and he does indeed seem like a good guy.
Murketts are awesome, when my car still had a BMW service history I used to travel 120 odd miles to use them over the dealers round here.

Phoenix in Kirkcaldy get my vote - David in parts there is excellent and knows his stuff, extremely helpful.
I stopped using Eastern BMW due to one bad apple - when I accidently filled up my 330d with BP Ultimate back in 2002, it was taken to Eastern, and the service guy there patronised me like a child, explaining how bad I'd been and I'd have to pay £0000s to get it fixed - when I turned up in person he wasn't quite so patronising, I hate people like that.
I'd driven the car 10m forward from the pump and put 22L of Ultimate into an already 1/2 full tank of diesel. They reckoned because I started the car and moved forward that was enough to justify £0000s. I made them pump out the fuel, and replace the fuel filter, and that was it. Around 50,000 miles later the car is still going strong!!

Couldn't agree with you more Steve. David has always been good to me and was funny when he checked out the price for a new bumper a couple of weeks ago. Their service department has always been 1st Class and Dan, the Technician knows me now and always comes out to comment on what he found, or not found on my car.
And, as far as Eastern go, I'm sorry Mark. I tried them after you recommended them and patronising yes, 27 year old in a CSL, Daddy-must-have-bought-him-it types, never stamped my logbook for an inspection I, I told them I was heading away for a couple of days and would need a car. They did give me a car and told me my parts wouldn't be in for 5-7 days, so off I went, tent and all to John O'Groats, Fort William and Ullapool on a run I'd planned with the CSL, ended up in an X3. Get a call when in Inverness 3 days later asking for the courtesy car back tomorrow! After much explanation, they wouldn't budge and I had to come home as they were going to start charging me for the use of the car as mine was ready.
They did do the Warranty work though, calliper seized after only being on the car a year but they said as it was replaced under Manufacturers warranty, it didn't get the 2 years parts and labour cover, you only got that when you paid for it yourself, or Extended Warranty!!! :banghead:
Car wasn't even cleaned right when I got it back.
So, back to Phoenix for MOT this year, not due another service for 11K!
For parts, I just go to Menzies, Stirling as get trade discount and its very handy for Step-Mum's work where I can get nice soup!
