I saw this section, and I would like to share with you guys the information and some pics of my beloved R1.
I bought the bike in greece and when I moved here, I took it with me.
So...
My bike is an R1 2005 Yamaha blue.
The parts that are installed.
Ohlins rear shock YA-343
Ohlins front forks FG-327
Ohlins steering damper
BST carbon wheels
Braking front disc (full floating)
Braking rear disc
Brembo extreme racing carbon brake pads
HEL brake lines
TSS slipper clutch
YEC AIS kit
YEC oil catcher tank
K&N air filter
Termignoni titanium racing exhaust (slip-ons and Y pipe)
AFAM (520 racing chain) (sprockets 15-42)
Valtermoto weights
Carbon fiber rear hugger and various parts
Yamaha rear seat
I am forgetting some small details now.
I didn't focus in the engine tuning, but the handling, braking and weight reduction.
I dynoed many times and the max horsepower is 157 on the rear wheel.
And some pictures

Very nice Alex, some good choices for addons there! I'm debating about a slipper clutch but the next move is to try racetecs to replace my corsa IIIs...

Very nice. I remember seeing a few bikes with a similarly placed numberplate when out on the Continent last year - very discreet! ;)
Should be on the track not the road!

Not often lately, switzerland has no racetracks...
it's waiting on the parking, behind the csl.

Mates, they stole my R1 today :bigcry:
It was sitting behind the CSL, in underground parking.
Some feckers took it away from me.
I am very sad.-
Bye R1

Alex, absolutely gutted for you mate! Have you had any help from Swiss Police? Surely there could have been some sort of insurance cover available? :bigcry:
Make sure you keep a good eye on the CSL dude.

Thanks for your support guys.
The Swiss police have been very professional and helpful. I don't have any complain about them.
Alex, I was thinking to switch to swiss plates this winter, so as I can have full insurance... but the thieves were faster than me.

I never posted any photos of my latest bike which I bought more than a year ago.
It's a 2008 Yamaha R1 with a few racing bits.
