Better than getting up and finding your wheels have been nobbled? I suppose.

Funny, almost EVERY time I stay in a Travel lodge, Holiday Inn, etc, we are woken at some point by the fire alarm. Even the other night, in the Tulip Inn on Copacabana the fire alarm was going off at about 02:00. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

You'll be fine crossing the Irish Sea, just a wee scoot across a bit of water. No worries. I remember last year crossing from Cairnryan to Larne, they had cancelled the sea cat due to heavy weather but the Monohull was still running. We were fairly piling into the weather on the crossing, Martina had to keep telling me to get away from the windows. I didn't care, wasn't my responsibility for a change so I was enjoying every minute of it. Loads of green water!

Had the CSL onboard with me right enough, so maybe there was a bit of worry. Do you get life-jackets for cars???

i came back from the iom a few years ago when i took a normal m3 and it was bad people chucking everywhere had to stand out back and look at the horizon not good.

the crossing was suppose to be at 11am but there have postponed it to 2pm due to the weather not a good sign and 3 more hours in liverpool never a good thing

Just a local who'd seen your car going past at a rate of knots, recognised partial plate from my car at the ring and thought it was me :)

You met a mate of mine there, Roger aka "The Admiral" - now on Interpol's database LOL

Pictures were good Dave, looked like you got the weather in the end!!!

Liked the shot of the Statue of Joey Dunlop taken from behind it so you could see the road and the countryside.
