Mark, anyone had any problems with the roof strips suffering from a similar bubbling effect :bigcry: noticed mine the other day..

Is it a corrosion warranty claim or just through the normal channels

Are BMW saying they're just a bit of trim as opposed to being bodywork?

Thats a suprise as a number of CSL's have had these changed under warrenty as it was a common problem I believe.

My drivers side mirror is blistering, needs a good touch up (strange how its just the drivers side?!) are they easy to remove?

The independent dealer who supplied mine carried out the inst. II service, so would i still be covered??

Yup, as SMD said - its a separate warranty that covers the bodywork. ie rust / bubbles.

Rich and S.mac - check your door catches when your at it. Mine were bubbling a wee bit and got them sorted end of last year.
