View Full Version : Looking to purchase a CSL
Hello All, Hope you are all well under these strange times. A long time lurker but not posted anything here before.
I have a few cars including an E46 M3, which I have owned for 10 years. Always wanted a CSL and I am now looking for one. Ideally I am looking for a Silver Grey CSL under 75k miles.
If you are planning to sell one or know of one for sale then please let me know.

I’ll post your request with another group. Good luck, but you really need to be looking for the faster colour :hahaha:

We are well thanks. Hope you are all well and coping with these strange times.
Be good to catch up some time.
We have two cars which are black and find it difficult to keep them clean hence the preferrence to SG.
What kind of price range should I be looking to pay?

Now that is a difficult question to answer. Hopefully you know what you would be happy paying and is it just to scratch an itch, or you plan to keep it. With any car there are things that need to be considered when looking at the price, e.g. mileage, tyres, discs, next service, sub frame, etc. I looked at 5 before buying one and that was in 2006.
Don’t be shy to ask about a particular car as most of them are known to someone or other. Everyone is friendly and helpful
I would also get it checked out by someone who knows these cars before handing over your hard earned cash
Good luck in your search

Also worthwhile registering your interest with specialists like Munich Legends / Classic Heroes etc, who will know a few potential sellers and can help with doing vehicle checks to give you peace of mind.
Best of luck with your search
Thanks guys. I am planning to keep it long term so keen to buy the right one. Unfortunately I am a hoarder when it comes to cars so have accumulated a few toys!
