2 bits that I would welcome a view on...

- Does your passenger window drop when you open the door? I’ve tried all of the usual resets and the symptoms do point to the lock mechanism (I think). However, I am wondering whether the CSL actually has that feature. My driver window does drop.

- Boot release button has stopped working in the car. Remote still works fine. Is this an issue with a known fix? Must admit I have not checked fuses yet..

Yes passenger window also drops a bit when you open it. That is to release the glass from the pillar. It should also be noticeably harder to close the door when the window is fully raised. Actually it will smash against the roof pillar :bigcry:

Does the passenger window still move when you use the switch / key?

As for the boot release, i havent heard of it being a common thing to go wrong on these cars. I think it most likely is the wiring or the switch itself that is broken but maybe its related to your passenger window not moving? Checking fuses is a great point to start.

Bit of a delayed response, but generally it helps the community if you close these threads down.

The boot required adjustment at the latch. What appears to be 30 min diagnosis and labour time, which seemed reasonable.

The window has sprung back into life, either as a result of a switch reset that I hadn’t got right the first time or a battery reconnect. Either way all fine!

Thanks for the suggestions.
