See this on eBay last night and did wonder, looks like a good example from the outset.

Driven fortnightly really??
40 miles last mot so that's 1.2 miles each time it's been out that's worse than just sitting there idle.
Why put such false rubbish in an advert.

Saw this when it was listed.
Panel Gap on the O/S where bumper meets wing and is that bonnet sitting a little high on that corner?
Check the colour match between O/S wing and door - could be the light of course:whistle:
Might be me but to say servicing has been carried out rigorously is a tad ambitious - for what i can see its only seen a garage once since 2013 and that was at ML for an oil service in 2016
You can just about make out some of the advisories from ML on the bottom of the invoice - discs, pads, corrosion, dent, seat backs chipped, wing corroded, and is that second advisory crack in boot floor nearside?
All of these could have been addressed of course.
Some nugget has sprayed the section between the rear seats black and possibly seat backs as well
Like anything you really need to see it in the flesh.

Just appeared for sale
http://www.millenniumheroes.com/cars/bmw-m3-csl-13-for-sale/
Same ball park price but FBMSH and still under BMW Warranty;)
Got to be worth a look - apart from the annoyingly rusty fasteners under the bonnet it looks nice
Not sure how many owners?

^^^Decent looking motor that^^^
Mine also had rusty catches. Well one of them was anyway, was slightly annoying every time the bonnet was lifted :hahaha: :banghead:

Did you replace them Paul?
If so what was the cost and was it straightforward?

No never did anything with them..
I am away to re commission the car after a 4yr laid up period in storage so I will remove and refurb them prior to it going back on the road.

I recently replaced mine (September last year), along with the headlight bolts - it was £85 in total for everything :). It took less than 20 mins start to finish.

I did the same a couple of years ago - very worthwhile cosmetically. The only thing you have to watch is that you adjust the new strikers so that they activate the SMG bonnet relay properly. Guess what I didn't do initially...
I also took the strut brace off and painted the scratched bits black.

I was able to line mine up identically due to the rust :bigcry: :hahaha:.

Don’t suppose you have a list of the part numbers handy? Certainly seems like the most cost effective solution to refreshing those parts!

Here you go;
51238229807 x 2 (upper part)
51238203862 x 2 (lower part)
51237203737 x 4
51233447111 x 2
07146985055 x 6
last three are the fixings btw

They also adjust for length, which is what I missed initially. If they're not wound out enough, they don't trigger the SMG microswitch.
