Have the car up in the air for a bit of front end refurb had a look at the back end and noticed my useless rear springs are broken again this is the second time I've to change these springs during my ownership I wouldn't mind but I've hardly drove the car since they were last changed.not sure we're I stand with 2 year warranty on replacement parts as I don't remember if it was two years since they were replaced but these springs aren't fit for purpose and I'm now reluctant to replace them with the same .whats my options?

Why is that ?
I find it quite surprising.

Unlucky maybe ? I'm sure they were fitted correctly they only fit one way I'm miffed by it. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

Properly broken, or just the pig tail? They brake quite easy, and is a fault IMO. Not sure if it effects driving very much though.

Broken at the pig tail at the bottoms of both. Wouldn't have known only I jacked the car up as it was driving fine.

Had a few rear springs snap seems to be very common,, at least it’s a diy job so doesn’t need to be anexpensive repair,, I think springs are about £100 each :bigcry:

Yeah, not sure if its a point they check for an MOT in the UK, but I got pulled up on it or the German equivalent HU.
Since they snap so often, I am now keeping a good set aside which I fit for the HU, then put the old ones in for driving.
