Well spotted shimmy mine on the left got lower mileage, but then lads car (lee) got a new engine, definitely a difference in power, also lee's car has no air con no CD player, not got the Xeon lights etc , some say as they should be. But did come with radio, not sure how much power gets sapped by air on. got to say mine is my favourite, but that new engine does feel good, must get a another drive in it before he disappears again for another few months

Both on original pumps Chad?

Any major differences between the two you noticed over the years with the relevant mileage etc:thumbs:

Both cars on original smg pumps , only problem I've had on smg was snapped compression spring behind knock in plug on gearbox, throwing up cog light, gps switch trying to find what problem was, but for sure was the spring .. I've replaced usual wear and tear parts. and recalls , BMW fitted a new diff foc late 05 never said why just did it ! At About 55-60k miles Boot floor replaced foc "had only slight cracks " no engine issues, touch wood..... Lee's car from memory boot floor foc similar mileage but two or three years earlier, new engine about 100k Paid for himself. As old motor spun a shell about 70k , old motor also had new head fitted slightly earlier, think he had to contribute to cost . Also boot floor repaired again by BMW , think wear tear relevant to mileage on most of things, Mabe he's unlucky with motor but does rag it
