Just had to renew my policy with ClassicLine also. :blalalala:
So they don't do Protected NCB any more? Sure they did last year, but can't recall now...

Call them and ask what they can do, I just got my renewal and it has only gone up marginally.
You could always try the BMW Car Club insurance scheme if you are a member, I have heard it's pretty good.

Pace Ward. Been with them many years. You actually speak and deal with real human beings that know what they're on about.

I renewed with Classic line in Nov of last year. £468 for agreed value of £40K and 5K miles per year milage limit with the car garaged.
Interestingly, if you state that the car is garaged it's not covered if it's sitting outside you house after 10pm. It's fine if you are out with the car or on a journey but you can't leave it sitting in your driveway overnight.

I
t's becoming hard work to get a decent quote, will try NFU, if no luck will remain with Classicline.
Some quotes are coming back at £2K+

Have you tried Competition Car Insurance, they also give track day cover, 0844 892 1966, but I think Footman James have taken over 0333 207 6000, I pay £400 a year limited mileage.

I used to use CCI when I owned Lotus' they are very good but won't do 'agreed value' policies which is why I left them when moving to the CSL. I think agreed value is a must for CSLs unless you want your pants pulled down in the event of an incident.

My Z3M Roadster is with LV so I asked for a multi car quote with the CSL
My renewal was 3 weeks ago for the Z3M @ £297 of which they will refund £278
New quote for the Z3M is £249 and for the CSL £302
Protected NCB, parked on the drive.
My Z1 and other classics are on a classic policy with RH Classics.
