That's a good price, I'm with RH Classics at the moment and they smacked my arse for £800 even though I have five other classics with them. I have two other cars with LV so I'll be ringing them next month.

Just gone back to lv, after straying to another company as they wanted £900 Csl and £4,500 for c class with my 19 year old lad on that. Got him on with lv for £ half that, £320 for Nissan nav truck

I am with Manning who are a very professional lot (although I have not tried claiming) and I am paying about £483 but valued at £40-45,000 for a 40,000 miler so possibly under valued. I say that but unless it is agreed value it makes no difference what you THINK it is worth. They will still pay what they think it is worth.

At the end of the day it is more than I paid so..........

You appear to have an extra 'possibly' in there.

Mine is with ClassicLine, 77k miles and an agreed value of £45k agreed instantly.

Any higher and it would have needed a valuation.

So do I but never mind that as I will also need to "come. Many individuals change brakes, add racing seatbelts ect. This is a standard car whic" Brakes yes I think they are pretty standard amongst the majority but seat belts !!??

Realistically though a 40,000 miler is worth how much?? Over £45,000 value is a little embarrassing though when I have some nicks on the back of the passenger seat that nobody seems to have solved the question of how to sort.... have they? Plasti wrap???

Got same marks on mine. Think nearer 60k value, given recent listings. Same old thing though; list price one thing sale price another.

Chaps, marks on seat backs, and even the rear centre console can be repaired to OE finish! Speak to Lawrence@ LG Trimming or Munich Legends who can get them looking like new again ;)

Pre sale prep MC?

Not really, it has needed doing for ages, along with the roof. When the SMG pump packed up it seemed like a good excuse to ship it off and get it fixed. It is always for sale at the right price as I am constantly under pressure to have fewer cars. Not helping myself by having just bought an SL55 AMG F1 pace car edition and a manual DB9. No plans to advertise it though, it is brilliant :)

I will post before and after pictures on a new thread.
